General warranty rules for Avtek products
VIDIS SA, as a distributor of Avtek brand products, provides a warranty for all products in accordance with applicable laws and conditions specified by the manufacturer. Detailed warranty terms can be found at warunki-gwarancji
The Authorized Service for Avtek brand products is VIDIS SA Service, ul. Logistyczna 4, 55-040 Bielany Wrocławskie.
All product repairs are carried out at the Authorized Service headquarters.
Warranty period
The manufacturer's warranty period for each Avtek product is specified in its card or specification. The list of products is available at https://avtek.pl/produkty
Warranty scope
The warranty covers the repair or replacement of the product in the event of manufacturing defects that prevent the proper functioning of the device.
What the warranty covers:
- hidden physical defects of the product resulting from causes inherent in the product itself, including material and component defects;
- errors in the manufacturing and assembly process;
- defects in the product's factory software;
- mechanical damage caused by design flaws;
- free diagnostics and repair of equipment by the Authorized Service;
- transport of the device to the service and back in the case of warranty repair (door-to-door); transport costs are covered by the Guarantor.
What the warranty does not cover:
- mechanical damage caused by the user, in transport, or by improper handling of the product;
- defects resulting from improper installation, assembly, maintenance, or use inconsistent with the manual;
- damage caused by external factors (e.g., water, dust, fire, power surges, lightning);
- natural wear and tear of consumable elements and parts subject to replacement;
- damage caused by the use of non-original accessories or materials inconsistent with the manufacturer's recommendations;
- service activities not related to the defect (e.g., cleaning, configuration, installation of external software).
Complaint procedure
How to report a failure, defect, or fault:
- Log in to Avtek Support Center and go to the "Technical Support" section;
- Fill out the failure report form, completing all required fields;
- Describe the problem in detail and prepare photo documentation - the service will ask for it after accepting the report;
- Send the report - our service will contact you.
Warranty repair execution time
- Diagnostics: 1-3 business days
- Standard repair: 5-10 business days
- Repair with parts: 10-21 business days (if parts need to be ordered from an external warehouse)
- Device replacement: 3-7 business days
⚠️ Important information
- Before sending the product to the service, backup all data that may be lost during service activities;
- The device should be sent in the original packaging or suitable replacement packaging facilitating safe shipment;
- Do not open or attempt to repair the product yourself - this may void the warranty.
